Cody’s
Priorities
For too long, our leaders have failed to build a state that works for people like you and me. The good news? It doesn’t have to be this way. Together, we can build an Iowa we are proud of.
Building Healthier, More Resilient Communities
From clean water and air to helping our communities prepare for climate change, Cody has the experience to meet this moment. Investing in our environment protects our health and makes our state a more desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.
Looking Out For Every Iowan
Iowa has made many national headlines under one-party control, most of which involve taking key civil rights and freedoms away from our most vulnerable citizens. As a member of the LGBT community, Cody will fight for the rights of all Iowans because this is a fight we owe it to ourselves and our neighbors to have.
Investing in Working Families
Cody is all for Iowans keeping a larger share of their money, but for too long, Republicans have thrown regular people under the bus in favor of their wealthy donors. Enough is enough; it’s time to invest in working families.
Leading With Learning and Worker Power
Over the past decade, politicians in Des Moines have systematically dismantled our public education system while gutting worker protections and undermining our local governments. Our students and our workers are the backbone of our economy, and it’s time to treat them with the respect they deserve.
